According to NRF (National Retail Federation), studies show that although fewer consumers admit to celebrating Valentine’s Day, spending is at a record high of $20.7 billion – that’s an increase of nearly 10 billion from 2018.

Bojangles’ brought back its beloved heart-shaped Bo-Berry Biscuits in time for Feb. 14.
Bruegger’s has heart-shaped cinnamon raisin, plan and blueberry bagels.
Chick-fil-A is serving up heart-shaped trays of their 30-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets and 10-count Chick-n-Minis at select locations.
Circle K has been promoting 99-cent cups of its delicious Simply Great Coffee with festive store signage featuring adorable hearts and smiling heart-eyed emjois.
Dunkin’ fans can enjoy heart-shaped donuts, as well as, new Bling Sprinkles Donuts – Chocolate Bling Frosted, Strawberry Bling Frosted and Vanilla Bling Frosted—decked out with special “Bling” Sprinkles.
Einstein Bros. is celebrating Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped bagels -available in a variety of flavors— for pre-order. Plain or chocolate chip heart-shaped bagels can be purchased in-store on Valentine’s Day.
Firehouse Subs has shared coupons for a free dessert with purchase at participating locations via social media.
Krispy Kreme’s new Valentine Conversation Doughnuts—available in Cake Batter, Strawberries & Kreme, Raspberry Filled and Chocolate Kreme Filled—features more than a dozen new and traditional edible phrases. Rewards members were encouraged to pick up a free Conversation Heart Doughnut with any purchase.
Papa Murphy’s commemorated Valentine’s Day by bringing back its popular heart-shaped HeartBaker® Pizza. “The way people are celebrating Valentine’s Day has changed. Instead of material things, consumers are looking to share experiences that are memorable,” said Laura Szeliga, Chief Marketing Officer, Papa Murphy’s. “The option of baking a delicious scratch-made pizza at home sure beats the idea of fighting the crowds in a restaurant.
