Clearwater, FL - September 11, 2007 – GSP Marketing Technologies, a leading provider of in-store marketing solutions for retailers and CPG marketers, announced today the hiring of leading Industrial Designer, Lester Morrow, as Director of GSP’s newly created Retail Branding Services division. Mr. Morrow will provide GSP’s customers with over 30 years of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of customized hardware solutions for in-store marketing challenges. As director of GSP’s Retail Branding Services division, Mr. Morrow will focus on developing permanent display solutions to meet the in-store branding and merchandising challenges of GSP’s retail customers.
Mr. Morrow comes to GSP after having been a consultant in the POP industry for the past five years. Prior to this, Mr. Morrow was President of Gage In-Store Marketing in Minneapolis, MN. His service in the POP industry has also included positions as VP Senior Creative Director for two renowned POP agencies located in New York City.
Mr. Morrow’s experience includes designing POP programs for a diverse list of brands such as American Airlines, Anheuser Busch, Energizer, Ford Motor Company, Nabisco, M&M Mars, Proctor & Gamble, Philip Morris and Revlon. His POP work has been installed in convenience stores, department stores, major drug chains, grocery chains, big box home repair, automotive parts, travel agencies, and discounters such as Target and Wal-Mart.
Mr. Morrow has won over 100 Point-of-Purchase Advertising International’s Outstanding Merchandising (POPAI) Awards plus the prestigious Display of the Year Award. He has also been awarded 15 patents in the POP field. His Industrial Design education was at Parson’s School of Design in New York City.
