GSP's Heidi Barnhart Named One of 2016's Top Women in Convenience

Clearwater, FL, May 11, 2016 – GSP, a leading provider of retail services, announced today that Heidi Barnhart, a Market Manager on GSP’s leadership team, has been honored with the Top Women in Convenience 2016 Mentors Award, presented by Convenience Store News.

Heidi joins a small, elite group of women nationwide to be recognized for their achievements in convenience store retailing. She is one of five women chosen for the Mentors category, which is especially for “women who have made an extraordinary impact on the careers of their colleagues.”

This is the third year for the award that recognizes a diverse selection of women in the convenience retail industry. Honorees are chosen based on nominations from their peers who illustrate a candidate’s innovative corporate initiatives, stellar performance and other attributes.

Heidi has been with GSP for ten years. She manages a team of seven account managers servicing GSP’s national accounts. Thanks to her leadership and mentoring, they are now managing the POP programs for GSP’s biggest national accounts, and impacting 6,000+ stores. Heidi is also often sought out by our customers for help with their in-store marketing strategies and to participate in their training events.

“Heidi really does make retail better,” said CEO Geoff Neuhoff. “She has become a mentor to the account management team at GSP, guiding their development and helping them to reach their potential. I know I speak on behalf of everyone here when I say we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments.”

Convenience Store News will spotlight the 2016 Top Women in Convenience in its August issue and formally present the awards at an industry celebration in October.
