Clearwater, FL – July 20, 2006 – GSP Marketing Technologies, the leading provider of Point-of-purchase Marketing solutions for the convenience retail industry, announced the acquisition and installation of a HP Scitex XL1500 digital printing system in its Clearwater , Florida facility. The purchase of the XL1500 printer comes a year after GSP acquired a Vutek 200/600 Six Color Flatbed U.V. Digital Printer, complementing GSP's extensive digital printing production capabilities. The XL1500 will be used to further boost production and enhance throughput in the critical short run market.
The XL1500 offers GSP a complete digital printing system that features enhanced color management, a higher quality-to-speed ratio for digital production, and the ability to print on almost any coated roll fed media. Due to its size and speed, the XL1500 is able to process print jobs at a high rate, and is expected to boost GSP’s production capacity immediately.

"The use of solvent based inks also means that we are far less dependant on the use of over laminates which will dramatically reduce production costs and improve digital production capacity."
