GSP Expands Production Capacity

Clearwater, FL and Provo, UT - August 22, 2007 – In an ongoing effort to improve print production quality and reduce production lead times, GSP Marketing Technologies, Inc. has installed two new screen print production press lines. The first of these lines was installed in GSP’s Springville, Utah manufacturing facility and the second is currently up and running in their corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. The addition of these two lines is expected to increase cumulative daily screen print throughput by approximately ten to fifteen percent. The lines have been optimized to handle short run, multi-color print production jobs, which represent over forty percent of GSP’s current printing volume and remain the fastest growing segment within their workflow.

 

In addition to these new press lines GSP has also completed the purchase of a new automatic emulsion coating machine for its production facility in Clearwater, Florida. This equipment is expected to be up and running by the end of September. With an average daily throughput of approximately 250 screens per day, GSP is one of the highest volume mid and large format screen production facilities in North America. The automatic coater will increase this capacity by offering an additional means of coating with a more precise emulsion thickness which will improve screen print quality and color reproduction.
