Clearwater, FL, September 10, 2013 – GSP, a leading provider of retail services, announced a major expansion of its router cutting capacity with the recent acquisition and installation of a new high-volume flatbed router for its Provo, Utah facility.
The Kongsberg XN24 from ESKO, one of the most sophisticated, highest volume routers in the industry, is equipped with specialty tools that offer speed, power and flexibility to precisely kiss cut or router cut a wide variety of materials: corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, wood, vinyl and plastics. Using the i-cut vision pro software and laser recognition hardware, the Kongsberg XN24 can cut up to a 5’ x 10’ press sheet.
"This new router dramatically expands our router cutting capacity,” said Elaine Scrima, GSP’s VP of Operations. “And the XN24 enables foodservice, grocery and convenience retailers to create dramatic contour-cut graphics for high impact in their stores. It also reduces time, labor and material waste, and better utilizes our existing printers to create the most accurate and efficient cutting paths for great quality output—every time.”
